OFFICIAL REGISTRATION

Jacob’s Well is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) registered with the Department of Welfare and a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) registered with SARS with 18A status.

 

FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY

Because we work with public finances, we are dedicated to the necessary transparency. Payments are done electronically with Business Internet Banking. Two signatories sign requisitions and payment. Daily transaction is processed on Pastel and controlled by duly qualified accountants. Finances are overseen by duly qualified Chartered Accountants.

The Chair/Founder and a Management Team are responsible for day-to-day management of Jacob’s Well National. The National Co-ordinator and HQ Adiminstrator is accountable to the Board of Directors.

OUR VISION

Jacob’s Well wishes to be the organisation in South Africa to facilitate the widest possible multi-disciplinary Christian network in supporting people in need of a regular income.

 

OUR MISSION

CARE: To facilitate a growing multi-disciplinary Christian support network throughout South Africa to take better care of people who find themselves "between jobs".

 

TRAINING: To facilitate a growing range of training options for people "between jobs" to gain both soft and hard skills to help them better cope with their circumstances and to increase their possibilities to find work.

 

INCUBATION: To create a growing number of Christian-supported Business Incubators throughout Southern Africa, where God-given entrepreneurial talent can find an effective platform to launch innovative and successful business ventures, contributing to the economic development of the community and the country and creating new job opportunities.
